Pet Portraits Terms and Conditions

I provide a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date that clients order with me. Refunds are made the same way the original payment was paid. 

If for any reason clients require their commission to be cancelled, they must envisage to contact me as soon as possible. At this point, clients will have paid a portion of the final fee. There will be a cancellation fee of 10% of the final cost, which covers any work that will have already been completed, such as mock-ups, emails and general administration.

 

 

 

If clients have paid their booking payment, which saves space in my commission list, however, do not fully complete the arrangement of commissioning a portrait, for example, do not provide reference photographs, I will freeze the price list for 12 months from the date the booking payment was made. If the client then comes back to arrange the portrait more than 12 months after the payment was made, the current price list stands for the full payment. 

Full payment must be made before the artwork is posted out to the client. Upon finalising the portrait, and sending images of the finished artwork for approval, a final invoice will be sent out and once payment has cleared the artwork will be posted. 

When the portrait is complete I will email the client a good quality watermarked final photo of the artwork for approval. If the client would like changes, they must let me know at this stage. I work with clients until they are 100% happy with their pet portrait artwork. However, if the issue cannot be resolved the client can have a 100% refund, on the understanding they do not receive any artwork.

Once receiving their custom pet portrait, the client has 14 days to contact me about any changes that may be required. If the portrait needs to be returned for alterations the client must bear the costs of return shipping back to me in the original packaging. If after alterations have been made and the client is not happy and would like a refund, I will dispose of the artwork and refund 50% of the total cost paid. 

Prices on my website are quoted in GBP. If you reside outside of the UK, I will provide clients with up to date currency conversions. Your bank will exchange the total to your currency in their own exchange rate at the time of purchase. Please vote any refunds will be provided in GBP, and I cannot be held responsible for any loss due to fluctuations in the exchange rate.

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 24 months. Gift vouchers are available for specific sizes and mediums if the holder wishes to change to medium or size, the difference in value based on the current price list will be payable. Gift Vouchers do not include postage costs, which will be payable before the final pet portrait artwork is posted out. 

My portraits are packaged to a very high standard. however in the unlikely event that your artwork is damaged, please photograph the artwork showing the damage and the packaging and contact me immediately. The artwork is to be returned to me at the cost of the clients and I will create a new portrait at no additional cost. The wait time for this will be dependant on the commission list lead time at the date of return.

I retain the copyright for all the artwork that I produce, and I reserve the right to use the image of the pet portrait on my website and for promotional material. The final artwork may also be used by reproduction for other merchandise. Customer emails may in whole or in part be displayed on the website for use as a testimonial. If clients are not happy with having their artwork or email on display, please make me aware of this upon ordering.
